Would you like to have easy read information produced for free?

Building Bridges Training are offering to produce one piece of easy read information by the end of March 2025.


We are looking for ideas and suggestions from self-advocacy groups, or individual people with a learning disability.


It can be about anything that would be helpful for people with a learning disability to live safer, healthier and more included lives.


Some examples are;

  • How to keep safe travelling on public transport
  • Looking after pets
  • Safety in the home
Easy Red Leaflet Sample

Your topic or idea must be helpful for people with a learning disability anywhere in the UK, not just for your group or area.


So it can’t be a report about your organisation, or about services just in your area.


You need to tell us your idea by Friday 3rd January 2025. Please email mail@building-bridges-training.org with your idea or document. Tell us your name or group name and why it is important to you to have this made into easy read.


Building Bridges will check if there is already easy read information on this topic. Then they will choose which they think is the most important one to produce.


We will let everyone know which one we chose to do on Friday 10th January.

If you would like us to email you our secret santa easy read information sheet please send an email to chloe@building-bridges-training.org. You can then adapt it for your organisation and Christmas meal arrangements. We’ve decided on a £3 spend this year.
